Terrible bedside manner. she was my baby’s pediatrician at NYP downtown after I gave birth and had absolutely no compassion towards me as a new mother. She pushed formula even after I told her I was trying to breastfeed, made me feel terrible for not tracking my baby’s diapers the day after she was born (how was I supposed to know to do that?) and even went so far to say my baby was likely dehydrated. She offered no education, just criticism during my entire recovery stay postpartum.
It was very unfortunate to have her as my newborn pediatrician for their first days. She totally weaned the baby even though I was clear I want to breastfeed exclusively.
