I hired her for my divorce to facilitate the process. It was not a terribly contentious divorce, but she acted like it was- as if my husband was hiding money or being devious. She was snarky in her responses to me via email and seemed irritated with me about how I wanted MY divorce to go. My divorce is final, but there is still one piece of the settlement pending. My son was accused of a serious crime that he did not commit. He received the notice on a Thursday afternoon and was told to appear in court on the following Monday. I searched online to find a local attorney who specialized in the area of law that would address the complaint and gave several to my son to contact. Unprofessional Unprofessional. Unfortunately she fits the stereotype we make fun of about lawyers. Late; she does not fulfill promises made on agreement that she will be your attorney. Cancels meetings last minute, even when you're on your way to her office. I did not have the luxury of leaving my job on her whim; and the fact she cancels on me when I've had to take time off without pay.
