I think Carolyn is the best! I've been seeing her for over a year now. I've seen several mental health providers in my adult life, and she made me the most comfortable. When I came to see her, another provider had mis managed my medications so bad my eyesight went horrible. She adjusted my meds so I can feel better and still see (lol) I find her to be real, compassionate, understanding, kind and funny! She's always responded if I've needed anything between appointments. I would and have recommended her to my loved ones.
Absolute WORST person to go to for anything. When I first met her, she had someone shadowing her and she was amazing. I was so happy to find her. Consultation was 30 min long, lots of info gathered. After the student was gone the next time it was like a whole different person. She never took notes. She'd only see me for 5 min or less every appointment and was always eating a full meal. Been seeing Carolyn since last year and have no complaints. She’s always very nice and easy to talk to.
DO NOT VISIT THIS NP. She is a pill pusher who will not call back, throws pills at people and the 'appointments' are literally 3 minute phone calls where she cannot even correctly recall the medication doses you are on. In my informed opinion being a patient for a year, this NP is dangerous and should have her license revoked immediately. She prescribed drugs that had MAJOR INTERACTIONS and when I called American Behavioral to inquire, I was told I would need to wait weeks and that she was too busy for a 'call back'.
