I met Dr. Joyner for the first time and was pieasently surprised. Calm demeanor and good personality. Explained things in an understandable way and to the point. Gave me all the time I needed to understand what was necessary to know. Would recommend the good doctor at anytime to anyone.
Dr. Joyner is the best doctor I have ever had. He is awesome.

Our family found Dr. Joyner and his entire staff at the Waterside office knowledgeable, expeditious, accommodating, and friendly. It is by far our office of preference when visiting Dr. Joyner. We give them our highest recommendation.
No problem with Dr Appleton himself but, I can't make an appointment to see Dr. Appleton. I have a simple follow up appointment and I'm 6 months out-- could probably be done on the phone or telemed. I waited on hold for 25 minutes. Don't use placeholder feature-- they don't call back.
Dr. Erwin is ok, front office staff not so much. I do not feel like he really listened to me and there were notes in my visit record of topics we never discussed. He was not very personable but I am looking for quality healthcare, not a friend. Scheduled me for 2 tests, which I agreed with so I think the path of treatment is appropriate. However, when I called the VCS office to reschedule my tests due to a conflict, the appointment person was unprofessional and unhelpful to the point I asked to speak with someone else.
