I am glad I did not read the negetive reviews before going to Carols, they were wonderful. Being a larger size person I was worried if I would find a dress for my daughters wedding, from the time we walked into Carols we were treated wonderfully and was able to try on a dress that was close enough to my size to know what to order and the price was good as well I did not need to go to any other shops this one was great. I would highly recommend it.

Wouldn't give this place 1 star if I didn't have to. The owner is absolutely awful in every sense of the word. Would not recommend anyone to go here unless you want to feel belittled!

Owner of the business very unprofessional, sourpuss face, no greeting coming into the business, rude sounding. She also charged more than what was quoted and said that person didn't charge correctly. There is only one seamstress working for her. They told us they need four weeks to do the alterations and the fitting was six weeks prior to the wedding. I would never use or recommend this place. Customer service was terrible with me and with other customers that were in the store. 8 out of 10 tuxes were wrong, some of them had to return 3-4 times. One of them never received their tux until the morning of the wedding and still was wrong and didnt match the rest of them. All they could say was IT HAPPENS!!

I am so happy that I ignored the negative reviews and went to Carols Bridal! They have a wide variety of dresses that range in price. They had a lot of dresses that I could afford which was awesome. All the employees and the owner were very nice and professional to me and my mom. I ended up finding the perfect dress at Carols after going to three other shops. Compared to the other shops, Carols was warm and welcoming when I was there - satisfied customer!

When I walked into Carols Bridal, I was immediately treated like family. Places in Grand Rapids treat you as if you don't walk in there looking like you're worth a million bucks, you will be dragged through the mud! Carol and her staff at Carol's Bridal and Tuxedo are personal, caring, friendly and willing to help you with all your needs. They take time and wait on you hand and foot. The staff here is SOOOOOOOOOOOO rude!!!! I got my dress here, and wish I hadn't. They weren't just difficult to work with, but IMPOSSIBLE!!! I just couldn't believe how rude they were when I dropped so much money at their store for my dress. My friend got married recently, and should couldn't find the dress she wanted anywhere, so i warned her about this place but thought 'Hey it's worth a shot'. ouch, what a store. What the heck is a man doing managing a bridal store? I don't personally feel comfortable with a man there while I'm changing. The staff is Bitter! Told my friend that she basically couldn't afford anything that they have. Told another friend of mine that she's to fat for a dress. Rumor of this store is if you buy your gown here. . . that's the last time they are remotely nice to you. Beware!! Why would anyone want to come here. . . good luck if you do.
