I wish to provide a review that rarely anyone sees or cares to see, not to throw shade at those you come to this hospital with significant problems with not so great outcomes. I am truly sorry. Driving past very late one dark night and an old man , maybe 90 + years old came up and tapped on my window. He said the hospital refused to treat him and put him out the door. He asked for a ride home. Surely, Atrium did not treat the man this way?
My first night here, last night, was a pleasant one. The nurse and tech were awesome. That all changed at 7 am with the shift change. I have to call 3 times before anyone acknowledges me. The nurses station is right outside my door on the second floor and they have been carrying on ALL day long. Laughing, screaming, joking. It’s so loud and so disruptive I can’t rest. The staff was very friendly and polite. It makes a trying time better when the people are courteous and treat you as a person.
