I had a time with the Attending Melissa Harris, NPC durning my mother’s stay at UNC. My mom had a recent hip fracture, cancer and an infection that could throw her into AFIBE and also infect her new hip. Mom had two low sodium chloride levels and low blood sugars to which she was confused. I went to the ER today because I had blacked out and hit my shoulder and head on the bathtub. They forgot to give me an iv that was ordered AND never checked my shoulder. Worst er visit ever! I will never go there again. I wish I could give them lower than a one star!!!
My parents keep being told that my dad has a balance, but they have never receive any billing statement. When requested they were treated rudely and told to go on some unc chart system. They dont do anything on line nor do they use credit cards. So unprofessional treatment and unrealistic expectations of elderly patients
