This is the first time in 26 years I’ve had a doctor actually care about me and my migraines. She cares about finding the root cause of my migraines, instead of throwing medications at me and hopes something sticks like other neurologist do. She really takes her time with each patient to learn about them as a person and what’s going with your migraines and that’s why “she has time management issues” but really she prioritizes time with the patient rather than sticking to a strict schedule. I have been a patient of Dr. Sacco for years and don't remember how I was able to deal with my chronic migraines without her. She's been a life saver for me. I read the one comment about her long wait times. That's not wrong, full disclosure she can get backed up and I go in knowing this but 1)she's worth it and 2) her staff is very helpful and when I have a mid-day appontment they never mind if I call before I leave to see if she's running behind to avoid spending too much time waiting.
I have had such a relief since going to Dr. Sacco. Yes, as one of the reviews says, you may have to wait, but just plan on it ahead of time. It is worth the wait. She is open-minded, remembers who you are, is very knowledgeable and has really made a difference in my headaches.
Dr. Sacco & the office staff are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Sacco has made a huge impact in my life and goes above and beyond each and every visit. I highly recommend Carolinas Headache Clinic.
Dr. Sacco is so very thorough in her care of her patients. She is very knowledgeable in the area of cluster headaches.
