Went in for a routine screening. Here 5 months post I still don't have an answer as to what happened to cause my health to be so negatively affected. The post op RN was so dismissive she told me that I would have to take PPIs forever. Did not listen when I suggested there was something seriously wrong with me. I ended up switching Dr's completely from Atrium and am now getting over whatever they did during the procedure to cause me to be this way. Nurse LeeAnn took care of me initially, and she was incredibly personable, kind, and reassuring. Nurse Lisa was also very understanding and helpful regarding the situation with my driver, which I truly appreciated. Jaya and Cory in the procedure room were so nice and made me feel comfortable as well. Dr. Ciel Harris was wonderful. Before the procedure, she made me feel at ease, welcomed all of my questions, and took the time to explain everything I needed to know. Excellent from start to finish. Communication. Nurses. Friendly and accommodating. Chloe was the awesome.
Upon arrival my husband arrival time was 7:30 I called to state we were running a little late and we had a 15 mins grace period ! Upon check in the lady at the front desk named “Dana” I believe so that’s her name , she had the nerve to do little comments such as dr is strict that there was a patient 10 mins late and he cancelled while she was waiting for someone in the back to answer her call , I guess the nurses in the back told her yes is ok to check in my husband , in my mind I’m thinking if you’re professional at your jo... read more
Experience overall amazing with the nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist. I was having problems with an insurance denial of the procedure and finally got in after my GI PA did a peer to peer right before! However, I am dissatisfied with my experience leaving. You are monitored after sedation for a bit but I was woken up by a technician with all monitoring connections already disconnected.
