Although the service was friendly, the experience was the worst. I owe $1,600 because they miscoded my anesthesia. They didn't list the columnoscopy anesthesia as a preventative treatment, but instead listed the endoscopy anesthesia as a diagnostic treatment, and my insurance doesn't cover it. I'm trying to get the code changed, but to date, it hasn't been possible because they dehumanized the care and don't care about the patient's overall well-being. I appreciate that a stressful procedure was made less stressful through good communication both before the procedure and during. I was fully prepared which ensured the procedure was able to be performed in an efficient manner. The staff are were skilled and attentive, answering all my questions. I highly recommend Atrium Health Endoscopy Center.
