A Disappointing Experience with Dr. Brooke Naffziger I had been a patient at the main clinic in West Columbia since 2019, and during that time, I experienced multiple miscarriages. I am a firm believer in being an advocate for your own health. During my consultation with Dr. Naffziger a couple years ago I expressed my perimenopause symptoms. Her first course of action was to prescribe antidepressants. I read Menopause Manifesto by Dr. Jen Gunter. In the book she says a lot of doctors will prescribe antidepressants for perimenopause symptoms instead of discussing all options. I do have controlled hpb for which I take meds. Taking estradiol in pill form isn't recommended however I can use the HRT patch. ... read more
Referred for possible hysterectomy. Not needed. Was scheduled to have a colposcopy and was not able to do procedure in her office. Was then told I needed a DNC because of possible diagnostic of any type of cancer. Went into hospital, put to sleep and half way home my husband informs me that she could not perform the DNC. Dr. Lambert was not there to speak with me anytime after the surgery. None of the nurses or staff told me the procedure could not be performed after I was brought back to my room after this so called surgery... read more
Dr. Morton is WONDERFUL. She has been nothing but good to my family. I started coming to her 11 years ago &. My first birth went great. My second birth was not so fun because I went into labor while Dr. Greene was on call. However, Dr. Morton was very apologetic & made sure I was very comfortable from that point on.
