Dr. Rachael Bell did not listen to the situation and dismissed all information given. Despite high liver values, low blood sugar and concerning symptoms, sedation medications were administered without adequate stabilization or explanation. We cannot thank the team at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Rock Hill enough for the incredible care they provided to our puppy. He was experiencing an anaphylactic reaction, and after losing precious time at another facility that wasn't able to help, we arrived here scared and hoping they could save him. They absolutely delivered. From the moment we pulled in, the experience was reassuring. My dog, Punky was treated here 3times before going to Heaven yesterday. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have lost both my fur babies within 5days apart. Punky was diagnosed by her long time vet with heart disease… My dog was only diagnosed after the disease had pretty much 100%progressed! But that’s another review! I cannot express my disappointment with the service I received last Friday July 10th at the clinic, my 5 and 1/2 month old puppy had symptoms of urinary tract infection and unfortunately her Vet and 3 others I called ( Palmetto vet, Catawba, etc...) were booked solid and could not offer and emergency visit, I was sent to Carolina Vet. Spec. and upon arrival the empty parking lot should have clued me in, but I went in anyway.... my baby girl needed to be seen.
