Dr. David Wright is by far the rudest doctor my family has ever dealt with in our lifetime. My father had a scheduled appointment with him on 24 February 2016. Dr. Wright would not answer any questions related to my fathers treatment plan, what would be done the day of the appointment, how long will treatment be, etc. These are basic routine questions anyone would want answered during an initial visit to start treatment. Very disappointing! Subsequent to an office visit on Feb 3rd, Dr. Douglas submitted a prescription on my behalf to my pharmacy provider CVS/Caremark. CVS/Caremark, in-turn, requested a review of this medication. I later discovered that having received the review back from Dr. Douglas, that my prescripton had been denied. I had questions regarding CVS' justification, and by all appearances it seems that one of the questions on the review was answered incorrectly by Carolina Urology, thus resulting in their denial? Dr Newsome was excellent! Very personable, attentive, and diligent. He breaks things down, makes it all easy to understand, and is down to earth. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of his follow-up planning.
I was concerned about a PSA number and was able to get an appointment with Dr. Newsome for the very NEXT day. I was seen, got all my questions and concerns satisfied completely in under 20 minutes total office time. No waiting, no wasted time, yet Dr. Newsome was patient and sensitive to every question I had—coudn't be happier with Carolinaa Urology Partner's highly professional and efficient staff!
