After having the now retired Dr. Matthews as my urologist for 7 years, I recently had my first visit with Dr Newsome. I found him to be very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything to me about my upcoming tests and answered all my questions. We had a good rapport and look forward to a continued doctor /patient relationship.
My experience at Carolina urology. It's a very pleasant experience. The staff up front was very friendly. They don't drag the take care of you. When I got in the back, the nurses were very nice. The I met with the nurse practitioner. She was their experience very knowledgeable of my situation. She gave me a lot of helpful advice. The Doctor came in she did a wonderful job, it was really a nice experience. I would recommend them to others always a pleasure to go there.
The doctor was great! The problem came when my IV antibiotics infusion was supposed to be set up. The doctor said it would be set up the next day (Friday) or definitely the following Monday. After 2 phones calls to the office with messages left for the nurse. I received a phone call back stating no one physically told her to set it up. After 11 days from my visit my infusions started.
