I had bad experiences buying slabs from this business in the past and stopped using them. Gave them another chance since the owner contacted me stating the operation had improved since then. I took slabs for them to dry and they are now warped beyond use. If I posted pictures, you'd see they look like potato chips. The owner said he'd refund my money and 10 days later, he said he didn't think he owed me anything. He had me pay for them before I saw them. Highly recommend Damon and the team at Carolina Urban Lumber. Their work is true craftsmanship. They helped us create a beautiful desk that will last a lifetime.
I like that they are putting good use to trees that would otherwise be trashed or ground into chips. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of beautiful kiln dried slabs and mantles.
They have so many great pieces of Mother Nature to make so many different things. The staff is also so courteous and helpful
