I rented a house managed by this company for two years, and working with Anthony was great. The rent was fair, communication was excellent, and any issues that came up were taken care of quickly. One of the most honest and reliable property management teams you’ll find, no complaints at all.

Long story short, my daughter answered an ad to rent a small room. She quickly discovered that the roommate had many challenges, the least being two big dogs that thrashed the place. My daughter bided her time until the girl moved out by staying with friends. Fast forward, the lease was up for renewal. Before signing it and paying the deposit plus the one month's rent, we emailed Anthony at Carolina Realty NC with 30 issues that needed to be addressed in the apartment. Communication and overall customer service improved dramatically when Ms. Teasley left. A few new people were hired and the results in maintenance work orders and overall communication improved significantly. Anthony in particular is extremely polite and does a great job following up with issues.

I can not stress how poor this business is. The house has cockroaches, but that isn't what upset me the most. Ms. Teasly has poor communication skills. Communicating through email with her is frustrating because she jumps to conclusions and doesn't actually read the content of the email, but replies with a generic answer. Also, I had a subleaser and Ms.Teasly was about to keep all of the security deposit until she realized her mistake. That was very suspicious, and I am not sure if it was truly a mistake.
