I love Carolina Pet Place, especially for my Yorkie's grooming! Everywhere else I had taken him, we had to sedate him so he could be cut and groomed. I changed to Carolina Pet Place, and Rikki, the groomer there, asked that she try and groom him without any sedative. Because of the gentleness and kindness she must show to the animals, Corky did great! NO SEDATIVES anymore! I couldn't be happier!

The "girls" are always happy to visit! – Our dogs (the "girls") are always excited to go visit Carolina Pet Place. We used to board them at another location, and one would become aggressive and the other very timid. I would have to drag both of them back to the kennel. This was NOT our experience at Carolina Pet Place. They scamper back to the kennel with licks and kisses for the staff. Love it!! – I first used Carolina Pet Place at the recommendation of my veterinarian. I am so glad I did. The staff is friendly and always gives me a full report upon check-out. My animals (cat & dog) come back to me happy and healthy which makes me happy! I have not had the same wonderful experience at other "higher end" places. They always cater to special dietary needs. Our dog gave it four paws. – Our experience with boarding here was positive. The staff was kind, (two ladies helped us), and seemed interested in our pet. We toured the facility prior to leaving and it was clean and the boarding areas were larger than we had seen elsewhere. I think the owner showed us around. He was pretty matter of fact about things and that may bother some clients. We used them during the holidays and it was pretty busy. There are much better places to bored your animals than this – I was not satisfied at all with my pet's stay, and many others can tell you the same. The staff was very rude and my animal was not given the proper care. I found him to be dehydrated when he returned home. I was never contacted about his lack of water intake had it been my dog neglecting his bowl. Negative Experience For Pet Boarding – I might have been born yesterday, but I stayed up late last night studying. Avoid this sham if you love your pets is our advice based upon our experience. To us the staff seemed aloof and very unfriendly, especially the owners. The pets must use a room with a concrete floor for waste elimination. They say they walk the dogs twice a day , which by the way they charge for even though they are closed on Sundays and at noon on Saturdays.
