This is an out standing business. I had a serious problem with air cavitation in my old engine and wanted to purchase a new 25 Yamaha. They measured my boat but the transom wasn't the right height and they did not want it going out not being right. I have a flat bottom Skiff. They had a metal Transom plate put on to raise it and oh my God what a difference it made. A boat dealership in Fayetteville had my boat for 3 months and did not fix it and it cost me dearly. After getting a bad diagnosis from Saltwater Marine. I took my boat to Chris and his team at Carolina Outboard. They were able to diagnose correctly and fix my motor for about 25% of the cost that Saltwater Marine quoted me. They could have easily accepted my boat as a trade in and fixed and sold it. Instead, they were open and honest and got me up and running. I'd recommend Carolina Outboard for anyone needing service on their boats.
