The staff was efficient and caring. However, I found Dr. Gupta to be unwilling to work as a “partner” with my son’s epilepsy. She considered that medications were our only choice, and did not see her roll beyond that, even telling me that the newer seizure meds “have absolutely no side effects”. That statement preempted any confidence I could have in her. (This was several years ago).
Dr. Gupta has helped my son with his seizure disorder. She told me the first time we went to her, "give me one year and we will get this better." She did her testing, then referred him to Duke University. Duke helped, and now he is back to seeing Dr. Gupta again. She was true to her word, and always takes time to see him anytime. I highly recommend her.
