Been using Carolina Maids for 8 years, 3 years in Charlotte then moved to Raleigh 5 years ago. Weekly customer with same maid same day same time great service. No team cleaning only individual maids. I've referred so many friends that I got 2 months free cleanings. Locally owned not a franchise contact owners Paul and Joel - Hourly rates around $30 can't be beat.

Like some reviewers I had problem scheduling my first time cleaning using a coupon I got as a shower gift. A relative recommended calling the owner so I did and got cleaning scheduled when I wanted. Even got free hour as bonus! Loved the cleaning and the maid they sent so I signed up for biweekly service at the discount rate. Always helpful when I need to make changes to my schedule. Not sure what other reviewers experienced but I'm happy camper now!

Do not recommend at all – I signed up for 4 hours of cleaning but only got 3 1/2. She left while I was out and my husband was here. She didn't finish the additional bathroom I asked her to do. Called the owner and left a message and he didn't bother to call me back. This was through twongo. The cleaning that was done was not even worth the money!

Terrible Employment Experience – I started working for the end of 2011. I was told that I would get a number of homes to clean within a 20 min radius of my home. NOT TRUE...the first week, I got 2 homes....total of 60.00 to me! The second week, I got a little more, but still was disappointed. I went and cleaned a home for 3.5 hours....the homeowner started complaining the moment I walked in the door. what a joke! – these ppl are a joke1 they don't even deserve any stars. i applied and filled out an application for them a while ago and despite having prior experience in the cleanig industry they wouldn't give me a job, hell they never contacted me saying yay or nay. they are extremely unprofessioal, the person who was supposed to interview showed up fifteen minutes after it was scheduled yet they stress u be on time to houses. they want u to be excellent cleaners but their office looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages,... read more

Carolina Maids was terrible – I have been going to school full time in addition to working and have just run short on time to clean my house. I was shopping around for different cleaning services to see which rout I wanted to go and I had already tried a couple of companies that I was pleased with when I noticed this twongo coupon for Carolina Maids. Just Awful! – These guys were terrible! Having just had a baby a couple of months ago, we bought 2 twongo coupons for 4 hours worth of cleaning to test these guys out and see if we'd book them for more regular cleaning. The lady they sent out assessed the house & said it would take her about 5 hours to clean. To which I said not a problem.
