Carolina Heritage Realty IS the worst rental company I have ever had to work with. We lost half our deposit because Tracy didn't show up to the house until at least a week after we left the property. We were charged for all sorts of yard work. We were charged for cleaning that we had already done to the house because it was required by the lease. Looked at a property that had all the walls covered in holes from the previous tenant, the bathrooms werent clean and the guest bathroom toilet didnt flush. They gave me lip about it when i came back with the key telling them what I found and that i wasnt going to be cleaning the house at all prior to signing a lease. They said no deal even though they charged a cleaning fee to all tenants that comes out of your deposit funny thing is the people before me probably paid that fee but it was obviously not done. The maintenance staff doesn't work after five and they leave a huge mess when the leave. They used to have a good lawn service and now they don't, weed killer is the name of the game. Even though you have to pay a "cleaning deposit" before you move in, you have to clean to move in. You have to seriously wonder exactly what they are billing the owners for in that monthly statement they send them.

Glad the Year Lease is Up We have done lots of work to the house, not to mention cleaning up after the animals that lived here before. It took me days cleaning carpet and scrubbing pee and poop covered base boards for the pets that had been in the home. The maintenance crew is a joke, move in and find out. We stopped calling and just fixed stuff our self. Glad the year is up so we can get away from this hillbilly operation. The home is over priced for what we have found somewhere else.
