I see most of their reviews are old for the North Wilkesboro office. The new Dr. Rossi and her staff doesn’t respect or accept $0 co-pay for United Healthcare visits for one hearing evaluation a year. First said they would refund the $. Then said they would send my records, which they haven’t. My hearing was fine. She said on the second visit we would get into tinnitus, which is misleading. I cancelled. There isn’t any quick fix. Dr. Rossi was kind and thoughtful. I only went for my initial hearing assessment. I’m not entirely sure she can provide a device to help w severe tinnitus other than counseling (only reason for going). My tinnitus is mixed w neurological issues. Nine neuros, Ewain Wilson, top ENT, head/neck/ear surgery Atrium WF Health Wilkes said “nothing could be done.” I have “one audiologist visit per year w $0 co-pay w UHC Advantage,” but office said staff who also files insurance couldn’t be bothered to call # on back of card to verify... read more
The doctor is really nice and seems caring, but if you have an issue like tinnitus, look elsewhere. It took a while to get an appointment, and there is no rush to get you in once they recieve the hearing aid/masker. They should take "Tinnitus" out of their name, because I don't think the front office really undertands what it means.
Wanda Crawford is amazing, I was here for my mother who needed hearing aids and Wanda made this experience easy, and my mother really like her hearing aids
