rude staff Just down right RUDE staff. They either completely ignore you or look at you as if you don't belong in there store. I was completely unsatisfied both times I have been in there.

Staff annoyed at me? I have visited the LONG POINT store twice, and will not return. Attempts were made to help me, but they don't seem to know their inventory. On both occasions I found what I was shopping for myself. Younger clerk looked annoyed at me, and made me wonder if she was mad at me. They are extremely slow, both with a store full of customers and when empty. They reluctantly wrapped the first time and second time wanted to charge 2 dollars for wrapping my gift, because it was on sale.

Only interested in herself I was in the Carolina Girl store in Mt. Pleasant. There's a short older woman that works in this store. She was talking with someone she knew and didn't speak to me and wasn't interested in helping me. I was looking for a certain Vera Bradley pocketbook for my sister and heard this woman talking on and on about her daughter and the latest gossip. I couldn't find what I needed and she sure didn't seem to care. I left without the pocketbook and went elsewhere. I will never shop there again.

Terrible Service and Product! I ordered very simple invitations from this store and they could not get it right. When I called to complain, they talked down to me like I was a child and acted like it was my fault they messed up. If I hadnt already paid for these invitations, I would not use them! The ladies who work there are rude and immature and have lost a customer for good.

Avoid the MT. Pleasant Store I was in the Mt. Pleasant store the other day. I told myself the last time that I would not go in that store again. But I was running late and needed to pick up a gift. I felt like I had to tackle someone to help. Finally I was able to get a short blonde older lady to help me. Did I say help me? Well I did not mean to mislead anyone. Catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Well don't be surprised Ms. Ella, as your friends in the store are rather ??uppity?? to say the least toward visitors in your community or toward folks that they do not know. Shop Mt. Pleasant Carolina Girls I usually shop at the Mt. P. store. Love them, but this particular day, I had a doc. appt. and was W.Ash. I was looking for a pocketbook and a fairly attractive woman with long curly hair approached me. She was so nice until she found out I wasn't going to buy her "Brighten" pocketbook. I don't know if she's just a salesperson or an owner, but she turned very snootie. I won't shop there again. I will only shop in Mt. Pleasant where they are truly "Pleasant"

2 stars only for the Mt. Pleasant location I recommend shopping at the West Ashley Carolina Girls if you like helpful and polite sales assistants. I have shopped at the Mt. Pleasant location several times, almost weekly for a long time, and have spent thousands of dollars there. I realized that I was leaving there feeling a little surprised at the lack of interest and sometimes down right rude behavior of certain sales assistants more often than I liked. Friendly Staff I am very suprised to read the other comments about the staff at Carolina Girl in Mt. Pleasant. There was a younger girl working in there, who said she had just started working there, and was VERY HELPFUL. She showed me everything from the baby items to the newest Vera Bradley bag. I was really impressed with how polite and intelligent she was, for only working there a short time. I was only familiar with the West Ashley Store, but I will def shop this store more often!
