Pete and his assistant came to my home and quickly diagnosed my air conditioning problem. He is very knowledgeable of HVAC and I was duly impressed with his service. He arrived when he said he would, too. His office manager was also kind and helpful. I coordinated his service call with her. I would highly recommend Carolina Custom Comfort for any of your HVAC needs.
Pete quickly diagnosed my faulty ac unit in less than 30 minutes. Required 1 lb of Freon and a new capacitor. I love his upfront pricing and explanation of the diagnosis.
I have American Home Shield and they sent this company to my home to repair the A/C. The owner and only mechanic, Pete told me that the freon I needed was very expensive because it is no longer produced. He charge me $405 for 3 pounds of freon. I decided to look into this issue and I found he quoted me for R22 wich is scarse and then put in R410A that is half the price. I won't call anyone BUT Pete & Sherry at Carolina Custom Comfort. 15 years he's been our heat & a/c go to guy! Always solves our problems and is cost effective in a repair plan.
