I want to edit my first review of Carolina Behavioral Care in Durham NC. My granddaughter was able to adjust to the open concept with just the curtains dividing the patient - that was surprisingly good given her high anxiety levels. I also would like to complement the staff. Dr. Chambers is an excellent psychiatrist - he's highly intelligent with a good sense of humor. I take my granddaughter to get her spravato treatments at Carolina Behavioral Care in Durham NC. A new company bought them out. Now there are no more private rooms, it's now every one in one room divided by curtains, no one can go in with her. My husband and I used to sit with her for a little bit, then we would take something for her to eat, we would sit in the waiting room for her to come out. Seems like a lot of people share my frustration. Good psychiatrists behind a wall of crap. The new athena system caused a bunch of problems and no one at the front desk will pick up your call. Happy to finally be leaving this office
Extremely nice doctors with excellent treatment highly recommended.
i dont think my doctor listened to me or what my situation is. prescribed a dose of medcine suitable for a small child. never liked the atmosphere except when dr.West was there years ago.wont be back
