We were so excited to stay at this property for the first time, unfortunately we had problems from arrival to departure. The largest was the leaking ceiling in the south unit. I constantly tried to get someone out to fix it. For 3 days no one showed despite being told that someone was on the way. We had to mop up water and put bowls under the many drips and move my nephew out of that space rendering the area unusable. I thought the place was lovely, view was incredible. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was decorated so cute with comfortable beds.
Everything was terrific. The house was excellent. Every possible need was met or exceeded.

Other than not being able to check in early our experience was wonderful. We have vacationed in Ocean City MD for many years and Carolina Beach reminded us of Ocean City 40 years ago. Laid back and not commercialized (What a welcomed change) We plan on returning. If you have never eaten at Jack Mackerels in Kure Beach, do your self a favor and visit them and enjoy a wonderful meal.
