We rented from Carole Davis for 3 years, during those 3 years we complained about several things that were never fixed. The water heater in the house was terrible and they never fixed it, they never fixed several outlets that didn't work. Their maintenance people were a joke! When we left we made them aware of several other issues and then they tried to charge us saying that it was our fault. Military renters beware. Carole Davis Real Estate does not honor the North Carolina Military Deployment clause, despite it being present in the rental contract. I have had multiple soldiers with this issue with this company. Not until we involved JAG did Carole Davis submit to the requirement that they must relieve renters of the rental contract upon receipt of either orders for a deployment, or a signed memo from the Commander informing of the upcoming deployment.
