Dr. Carol Lockwood is a terrific dentist! I recently moved to Highland Park from the East Coast and went to her for a routine checkup. Her initial examination was very thorough, and she discovered a number of dental problems that had been missed by my prior dentist. Our college student daughter is going to college in Chicago and she had a tooth ache, now she has a tooth ache and is $988.00 poorer. We made a bad decision when we chose Dr. Lockwood, she is very expensive and have no qualms taking every dollar she can get. Hopefully we will get AX to cancel the $1,500.00 retainer fee to fill the cavities next Friday. My daughter can have soup until Thanksgiving when she comes home to Houston. We feel that she took advantage of us.
Before seeing Dr. Lockwood I had severe "dental phobia" and had not seen a dentist in years. She is kind and gentle and I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. She takes great pride in her work which deserves it.
Dr. Lockwood is simply amazing. About 10 years ago I knocked out my front tooth and it has been a struggle trying to get it fixed. My body rejected the original tooth and the bone graph for an implant. Dr. Lockwood created a double crown to cap my real tooth which created a fake front tooth for the missing one. It looks and feels just as real as my other teeth. It was a long process to get my front tooth back but Dr. Lockwood made the process as easy as possible.
