Very disappointing experience with the leasing office. My boyfriend and I were interested in relocating to Bergen County because of his job in the city, and we reached out about an apartment. Unfortunately, the leasing process was immediately met with unnecessary barriers. I was told our incomes could not be combined because we are not married, and that my boyfriend would need to meet a specific base salary requirement. Application process is absolutely horrible. You would think you’re applying for a luxury condominium when the apartments are not newly renovated.
