When I thought this credit union couldn’t possibly get any worse, they found a way. They are now engaging in what appears to be negative-option enrollment. I just received an email cheerfully announcing, “Heads up!” before explaining that my checking account will be charged $4.99 per month unless I proactively change it back to my original account type. Noticed an online bill pay fee for $5 monthly. I figured it was a recurring external transfer I set up. When I stopped it, and inquired about the fee, I was told I must have clicked on the tab for online bill pay. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR IT! They offered to credit me $5 when it ran for 9 months. What an IT joke of an online banking service.

Jordan at the Rosewood location has gone above Ana beyond for me twice recently. I didn’t think I would be such a needy banker but I’ve had two kind of off the wall issues in the past month that was nothing of their doing that he helped me with kindly, professionally, and immediately. His customer service is unfortunately not something seen enough these days and I would like to say he has restored my faith in Columbia, if only for today. Haha.
