The experience doesn’t feel luxurious at all, and it gives the impression that the owners are cutting corners. At a similar level, I would choose Stanly Ranch. Our room wasn’t ready at check-in time, and when we arrived at the pool around 5 p.m., none of the lounge chairs were ready, set up with towels. The room itself was in serious need of a deep clean, very basic hair dryer, no coffee machine. The private cottages are a unique experience with outdoor, private patio, shower and tub. This is a luxury hotel and spa. The grounds are expansive with plenty of areas for private walks, benches and well manicured lawns. There is a markets with a broad array of wines, cheese, snacks, candles, drinks, sweet treats, and more to explore.
