My flight was canceled Wednesday night coming from NYC for a long holiday weekend with my wife. The entire time our flight kept getting delayed we’d communicate this with the staff at Carneros. Once our flight was completely canceled and the next one out was Friday we decided to cancel the trip. We called the hotel to let them know and they canceled the room. Our stay at Carneros Resort and Spa exceeded every expectation. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well maintained, but what truly made this trip special was the staff and the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Pros : The property is beautiful and well maintained. The grounds and the flowers in spring were very refreshing. The pool area especially at the hilltop has beautiful views. The rooms have a extensive outdoor area but we did not use it a lot because we were with a toddler. The staff we interacted with were very nice. Cons : 1. For such a steep price, the rooms were not very clean. I spotted some stains on our sheets. The bathrobes had holes in them and were clearly worn out.
