Classic Italian restaurant. The little is dim on the restaurant for a good ambiance. Their pasta sauce is really good. I would recommend trying the gumbi. It's a baked pasta. Price is on the expensive side but well worth it.
The bar is great to watch a basketball, football, or baseball game. The drinks are good and fairly inexpensive! The salads are great at the restaurant...but I'm not a big fan of the other dishes served! :)
I have been going here for over 10 year and the food is cheap and always good. Service is consistently quick so it's perfect for lunch time. Try the pizza with peperoni and red onions. Very tasty!
We use to enjoy Carmine's as a family dinner celebration restaurant, and taking out of town guests there, birthday dinners, etc. Last night we went to dinner, expecting a great evening and meal . March 2009 First off, our server was HORRIBLE. Our busboy was great, and helped more and answered questions, and took care of our needs, as we actually saw more of him. Too Salty!! Wow, couldn't taste any flavors over the salt. To begin with the Italian dressing was salty, the sauce and meat balls were very salty also. When so much salt is used you wonder what they are trying to hide?
I've only been to Carmine's on three occasions. The first two visits were nothing to, er, write home about. I think I may have had the Pasta Pesto the first time, and the second time I came to meet a group of friends but had already had dinner, so there was nothing memorable there. However on this latest visit I enjoyed the sausage, peppers and onions, along with a small side of pasta with marinara sauce, and all in all it was decent. Good Italian food... great prices & customer service – My husband and I were just there this past Saturday... and we will definitely be coming back for more. The portions are enormous. I had the Gumbi and it was FANTASTIC (definitely big enough to share)! I wasn't too excited about their garlic bread (you have to order this as a side dish)... but the freshly baked bread they bring out w/your drinks and salads is very tasty & fresh.
Great Italian Food! This is our favorite for Italian Food. Great selections and the pizzas are fabulous! I personally love th elasagne and canneloni meals. Fresh, great service and very friendly staff.
Great Time at Carmines on Friday 08/24/07 I happen to be at Carmines with my family and friends because we wanted to have some good Italian Food. Well, we got Good Food and Great entertainment for a fair price. I had the Ravioli with meat sause and it was delicious my boyfriend had the pizza and he loved it lots of toppings and fresh bread. We happen to sit in the bar side and they had a great band playing. I think they were called Power and Soul. It was a great night. I will be back.
