I took my grandchiild to Carmichael's Kids and she and her friend absolutely loved it! A very quaint and cozy space that offers a great selection of fictional and non-fictional books. My grandchild asked specifically for non-fiction because she is currently seeking information on true stories, biographies and history. A dianosour book made her very happy! 😀
An amazing bookstore for kids! The ladies there are beyond nice and patient with the littles. They encourage play and never once sounded annoyed with my little gabber. Great selection of books and gifts that inspire thought, fun, and creativity!
Went in today to look for ethnically diverse picture books. The helpful ladies went through their shelves and found a whole stack for me. As an adoptive mama it has been difficult to find books in which my kiddos "see themselves." I can't wait for my darlings to get home so I can read to them Ada Twist, Scientist. And I am looking forward to family dates reading many more books in the very cozy bookstore.
