I used to go to Carmen when I was younger and stopped for a while. They were really good in the past, too, but I really needed a haircut that fit my schedule and budget. They made it happen. Not only that, but it was the best I've ever felt about a haircut after the fact.

When previously visiting this hair salon I've been satisfied, I've had a new stylist each time I went, but they've all done what I requested perfectly. However, this time was extremely disappointing. The haircut is not at all what I asked for. It's way too short, and even though the stylist asked multiple times to see the reference photo, she didn't do my hair anything like the reference. Long wait or indeed, stylist bails completely. Inferior service and expensive. Only had experience with one stylist, Linda Roberts and it was totally unprofessional. I waited almost a month for Linda to order new extensions and she didn't...she chided and criticized me afterwards and told me "hair" wasn't that important when other things are going on." If "hair" isn't important then why is her profession being a "hair" stylist? Totally disgusted and was lucky to find another stylist who actually thinks "hair" is important.
