Carmelita's is our go-to Mexican spot in Dunedin. The mild salsa that they serve with chips is delicious! My son loves the carne asada tacos, and I usually get the shrimp tacos. Today, I mixed it up and tried the vegetarian combo - the chile relleno might be my new favorite! So yummy. Great margaritas and horchata too!
Sat at the bar. We ordered from the lunch menu and it was still a lot of food. And yes it was Excellent. The salsa is very good too. It comes complementary with chips. Service was good and not noisy.
We love Carmelita’s! It usually runs us about $80-$100 for a family of four though.
