Un endroit assez authentique, les gîtes sont très spacieux et propres, l'accueil des gérants très agréable, le petit déjeuner inclus et on rencontre des biches régulièrement. Bien situé pour visiter Carmel et ses environs avec des prix nettement plus accessibles qu'à Carmel.
I would have gone to 3.5 stars if possible. First the good - service is attentive, relatively private feel in spite of a lot of amenities, good range of activities. The less good - service is disconnected. Things work but you need to chase. Childcare not confirmed. Payments go differently than planned, cabs don't show up even if booked. Rooms look better than they are. We had a leak, it smelled, we could not be moved, etc. The bad - everything is expensive, and everything is charged extra. Beautiful, serene, perfection. Best kept secret hiking trails that lead you to the Carmel Valley Trail Rides horses, goats, mini donkeys, and more!

My friend and I had a weeks stay at Carmel Valley Ranch and could not have had a better experience. All of the staff was as nice and as helpful as they could be. And the food is to die for! We took a horseback ride on Monday, Sampson (my horse) was on his best behavior. Tuesday we had a tour of the organic garden and hen house with Farmer Mark Marino.
