I've just been initiated into the root canal club and I'm certainly very appreciative it was at Carmel Valley Endodontics. Christie got me on their busy schedule after a sudden painful throbbing molar flare up. X-rays can only show so much but because I had the office 360-degree 3D scan it was clear that my molar root had in fact died and there was also an infection into my jaw. The front desk representative I spoke with today was extremely unprofessional. I was referred to this office by my general dentist, and during my initial visit, the administrative staff assured me that everything had been taken care of and asked me to pay my portion, which I did. Later, I received a hefty bill with no prior explanation. When I called to understand what had changed, the response I received was unfriendly, dismissive, and unprofessional. Dr. Justin Naylor is my family's endodontist. He has performed several root canals for me and my family. And most recently he let me know that, unfortunately, I needed a tooth extracted instead of performing the root canal. He thoroughly checks out everything before proceeding. His office staff and dental assistants are supportive and explain everything very clearly. I highly recommend Carmel Valley Endodontics and Dr. Naylor.

I’ve had a great experience at this office. The entire team is kind and accommodating. I was originally referred for a possible root canal, and the 3D image they took helped detect that I needed one. (Which was helpful because I was referred a year ago for a different tooth and the 3D image defected that I did not need one). Dr. Naylor is calm and has a gentle approach. I would like to express my gratitude to CARMEL VALLEY Endodontics and Dr. Justin Naylor. I was referred here by my general dentist for a root canal treatment. The procedure was quick — it took about 30 minutes to complete the root canals for one tooth. Dr. Naylor and his assistant were very professional, polite, and attentive. Everything was done carefully, painlessly, and with great attention to comfort.
