Stay away from this building! Living at Carmel Place has consistently been a frustrating experience, primarily due to ongoing issues with both the heating and cooling systems, and more recently, a serious problem with hot water availability. 3/2024 - No hot water has become a frequent issue. Cold showers aren’t really my thing and having entire weekends without hot water is disappointing. Please fix. 12/20/24 - Hot water issues continue sporadically over the last 2-3 months, and now water pressure in the shower has decreased by more than 80-90% some days. Moved out 6 months ago from Carmel Place and still haven't received my security deposit back. No response when I email them.
You get what you pay for. Keep it real. You can complain all day but what are you handing over like a couple hundred here and there. Sheesh. We need to remain grateful for places like this. . sometimes it's ok to help yourself.
