The Fredericksburg, VA location on Southpoint Pkwy was the best Carmax I or my family has personally ever been to. We love Carmax as it is but there was something superb about this location. Jeremy Fossum was my sales consultant and I was impressed with his genuineness and help while I was there. The entire experience to purchase a vehicle was not stressful one bit. I went into Carmax a little skeptical as I thought I could get a better deal at a dealership. But I am so glad I decided to go with them. My salesman, Chris W, was amazing! Everything went so smoothly, through the whole process I was waiting for the catch. I requested for a vehicle to be transferred from another location. It arrived in 3 days. I got pre-approved for financing through Carmax over the phone, which I was very pleased with (considering my own personal bank could not even get close to matching the interest rate).... read more

i purchased a 2004 Mercedes Benz in 2006 and it has been a nightmare ever since. In Nov 2006 I was told I needed a new battery it is a Mercedes, the battery in my Saturn lasted longer. In November 2007 I had to have the chip in my radio replaced. In January 2008 it would not start, had it towed to Carmax and was told nothing is wrong. Now it is March 2008 and it is back in their shop waiting service. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. When I return from Kuwait I plan on returning the car and never purchasing another ... read more
