These people are very incompetent and none of their employees knows anything about selling a car!! I tried to buy a car for my daughter and purchased it online so I could just sign and drive! They tell me I could use a power of attorney since out of town, so I get one and had my dad go to finish the paperwork! We have had good experiences in the past with Carmax trading/buying so we thought we would try to sell our car to them. Received $9400 quote on line which I thought was a little high and expected it to be a little lower only to go in to be offered $3500. What a waste of time!!!
So we tried Carmax. What a negative experience!Went online found a car we liked. Paid to have it shipped. What showed up was WAY different than what was online. Signs of water damage. Horrible horrible horrible. CarMax at Town Center in Kennesaw is making people put full coverage on vehicles in order to test drive!!!! I question and argued with my agent Mike Williams for 10 minutes because I know something was wrong. Even when I had the insurance binder emailed to me, he still did not allow me to drive the vehicle because he wanted the lien information on the paperwork.
