Carmax makes the buying process extremely easy but beware of buying cars from here. I went to test drive a 2015 Ford F150 and it ended up having a door sealed shut with the lock components taken out, and under the rubber door seal there were dozens of ants, who knows how many were in the vehicle, could’ve been a whole colony. I felt no pressure to buy. I am not someone who wants to be "convinced". I want to make the decision that feels right for me and if not happening I want to feel free to walk away for a while. This was exactly how I felt buying my car.
I have been with Carmax for awhile now and the team that is there now Is by far the best! There is a fine line between consumers and customers with that being said. There's a new addition to the team and from the Jump he was welcoming always saying hello and made me feel like I was a person and not some bum off the street. I went into this location to sell my car after receiving a quote online. The staff was extremely courteous and processed my sale in a timely manner. I was extremely grateful for the complementary Lyft home since I didn’t have a car after the sale.
