this place is aweful they lied to my mother from the beginning and told her there was one owner and there wasnt. we went to a different carmax in raleigh nc and find out the truth about the car and trying everything we can now just to get the car sold or takin off her hands.
They sell over priced lemons. Their autocheck tells you nothing of the vehicles service history, even though they claim it is better than a Carfax...yes because it's a cheaper report and tells you 1/2 as much! Also all of their vehicles were leased/rentals for the most part...which means beaten up cars that are ready to fall apart.
First let me say; I never write reviews, so for me to do this should be considered noteworthy. My husband and I had an amazing experience buying our dream car. After looking for months for the make, model, exterior and interior color we finally found it on CarMax.com. Since I had done my research I knew what I wanted and what would fit in our budget. BEWARE ! ! ! My wife and I recently went to Carmax in Henderson NV to trade in my Titan and purchase a car. Everything went very smooth, the sales associate was very nice and helpful he took us out on two test drives and even went above and beyond to get us the car that we really wanted. Today it was an embarrassment for my family and I, i went to carmax henderson to sell an cadallic escalade, the estimate they gave was $26,500, and a guy named Thomas helped me out , i was a little less then what ive asked for but he told me if i can put stock rims back on they will give me extra $1000 more and put the third row seats in they will give me $1500 more. I have bought over 120k worth of vehicles from Carmax over the last 4 years, including the BMW M3 I took in for service. All with extended warranty. I Tried to use my $0 deductible warranty today and ended up being refused the repair and instead being charged $50 to have them epoxy the part back together. When I realized they were going to just epoxy the item I called to cancel and the work had already been done When I picked the car up the front spoiler had a chip in it and the epoxied part was not properly installed. This henderson place is a freaking joke. I made an appt. Showed up and they said there is no salesman available. I already reserved a $30,000 truck and was ready to buy that day. There were bunch of them hanging around their desks doing nothing and yet "there is no associate available right now." We waited and nothing was happening.
