This is about Carmax King of Prussia. At this location an appointment means getting in line and waiting for someone to help you. In other words, a 2PM appointment doesn't mean you're going to be taken care of at 2PM or soon after. I waited 45 minutes after which I was told they don't know when someone will see me so I left. When I complained about it I received an apology and an offer to make another appointment, but with not guarantee that someone will see within 15 minutes of that appointment. Buying a car from CarMax has literally ruined my life . Bought a jeep 2 years ago from CarMax. $435 monthly payment that included maxcare ( extended maintenance warranty). Carmax charged me $14,990 for a car worth $8,000 max. I'm actually paying $25,000. Here I am 2 years later and I've been making $435 car payments for the past 5 months for a car I can't drive, an extended warranty that won't help and too top it all off lost my job due to not having a vehicle. Once again I went to CarMax in Danvers and I brought my daughter to purchase and look at vehicles. I introduced her to JERRY! He helped me and sold me a Beautiful car. He was so patient and just a wonderful person!!!! My daughter decided to wait a month or 2 to purchase but Jerry was so understanding and I would recommend him highly! No question about it!!! He is "THE BEST!!!"
CarMax in Newport News sells defective automobiles. Do not buy from them.....especially my fellow retired and active duty military members in the Hampton Roads, VA region. Carmax in Newport News sells defective autos not fit to be driven off their lot as evidenced by what they did to my son recently. The supervisor here is a fragile little man that hates the First Amendment. He will call the police on you for standing on a public sidewalk taking pictures lie and put your life in danger by accusing you of being "combative" because when you don't answer his questions it bruised his fragile power tripping ego. Carmax cars are overpriced garbage. their 125 point inspection is crap, you need to take their cars to a third party inspection, their finance is outrageous, they pray on the poor and uninformed. Their service department is incompetent. if you buy a Maxcare warranty you better read what is covered, and sometimes they do not even take Maxcare customers and send you to a dealer, shouldn't Maxcare customers take priority.
