I don't know when customer service became such a disappointment. At this place, the staff seem to serve customers with annoyance, apathy, and a lack of interest. Instead of offering solutions, they just try to get you out the door as quickly as possible. Customer service used to be about kindness, empathy, and a genuine willingness to help. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case here. I left deeply disappointed. There is a lot of room for improvement.
This was the 4th car we purchased through CarMax and the process continues to be very simple and straight forward. Our sales associate Carter was pleasant, engaging and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend the Roswell location and Connor.
Even though I appreciate the no haggle process - its not advantageous for sellers whose cars are in pristine condition with new tires, batteries etc. Carmax should look at opportunities for growth in making the experience top notch by making the deal more attractive to sellers with pristine records and excellent conditions Overall otherwise Great experience, from start to finish
Got an offer online, I brought my car in for the in person appraisal, they took $9,000 off the online offer, claiming the mechanic heard a whining noise indicating a powertrain issue. Concerned I took it to my dealership for repair, they traced it to a dirty radiator… fixed for $200. The noise is gone. Like other reviewers here, I’d avoid this location. It felt like a tactic to lowball the offer once I was there in person.
