Had a great experience selling our vehicle through carmax!!!! The staff was phenomenal, they made the experience so easy especially as we were selling a vehicle in North Carolina and live in New York! The process was great and left with check in hand. We went to another dealer initially and they were not helpful at all, it was a breath of fresh air dealing with winterville CarMax!

I bought a car from Carmax and then traded it in with a Ford dealership. It was not even one week after I traded a car in. They started calling, not me, but my daughter who is in the military, and not on the loan threaten her that the car needed to be paid off within a week or else they were gonna put a negative payment on her credit report. This will cause my daughter to lose her clearance with the military when I call the dealership that I traded a car and they told me they already paid off the car a week ago.
I would give no stars if I could. This store is unorganized & unwelcoming. I traveled 45 min to and from this store 5 times due to them not being prepared. First off when I walked in they didn't greet me at all! I was given a look of disgust because my clothes had flour on them from working. Before I could even test drive the car they wanted the down payment. That's the first thing they asked for! Nobody gives money without test driving a car first!
