I took my 2009 Toyota Camry to CarMax McKinney for an appraisal this morning. After their mechanic inspected it, they offered only $700. When I later met with a private buyer, he immediately noticed that the engine oil cap had been left completely untightened after the CarMax inspection. The open cap made it look like the car might have an oil leak, and the buyer even suspected we had added oil to cover it ,which we did not. This is the absolute worst car dealership anywhere. They are always the priciest of any other lot. If you don’t believe me, take a look at yourself. Every time I have looked for a vehicle in the last 20 years, they are always more expensive by far! They don’t deserve another penny from anyone. They’re deceitful and very dishonest. Whatever you do, go somewhere else.
