Overall, I’ve had a pretty good experience working with Carmax to get rid of my leased vehicle. As my lease is coming up and we already purchased a car elsewhere I was looking at options to get rid of the lease without having to take it back to the dealer where I know I would have some lease termination fees and other things that I’d have to pay. After 2 wks of multiple dealerships, salesmen lying to you and pouncing on you like vulchures in an African safari and a dead corpse, to getting my hopes up to settling on something that I didnt want to again being let down...carmax and their process was straight forward easy and the salemen as well as the manager where extremely compassionate, listened and didn't push. My initial CarMax experience was quite good. I was able to have the vehicle I had been following, shipped to my local store and my trade-in experience was out standing. I will very likely utilize CarMax the next time I am in the market to purchase a used vehicle.
Excellent car buying experience. Was able to handle the financing pre-qualification process online before visiting the store which expedited the car buying process. My sales representative, Austin Burpee, did an excellent job. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and provided me with outstanding customer service from start to finish.
