Unprofessional. The car I had ordered was not accurately posted there were many damages to the car that were not listed and features that it did not include. The car was also not cleaned well at all. Overall, my experience with the service was very stressful. I felt forgotten, ignored throughout my time there. They were late to our appointment and had no care or concern about how I felt about the car. The dishonest description and price were not fair to me. Purchased a plug-in hybrid. Not even 24 hours later there was a check engine light that came on that required the car to be serviced. Clearly, they did not do proper testing on the vehicle before selling it. In addition, the salesperson told me the car would come with a 240v charger--but it didn't. When I called the service department they told me I had to purchase it. They don't seem to have a problem with misrepresentation in order to make a sale. I won't purchase any other vehicles from CarMax.

Bought a vehicle from this location 2 months ago today. I am in disbelief with the treatment I received. Worst car buying experience i I've ever had. Horrible customer service. The sales management is terrible and the service department management needs work. One of the mangers Tammy made me and my family uncomfortable. Right then and there after encountering with her I shouldn't have bought it. She attempted to to reduce my trade in value by $2,000 using some very lame excuse. Absolutely HORRIBLE... Screwed up my paperwork 3 separate times forcing me to drive an hour out of my way back to the dealership a week later to redo it completely. It’s been a month and still have not received my copies of the paperwork nor has my old car loan (my trade in) been paid off, which is still considered an open loan in my name and now rendered payment past due affecting my credit. Carmax does not run a carfax reason hmmmm so they can use what they want I bought honda civic from myrtle beach location. There report shows no accident ever not true I ran a carfax report and its 32 pages long I informed carmax something wrong pluse car had no airbags the people that work there would not do anything so after proof that car was wrecked and had aftermarket parts on it after telling them theres no airbags in that car well sept I was in head on accident I was hurt very bad no airbags deployed carmax is a freak... read more

Thanks to the excellent after sales service provided by Chris Sparks and the entire management team. I visited the store during my vacation and Chris helped me to find the car that I could not resist to buy. Most importantly, they continued helping me with the challenges/Issues when I tried to register the car back to my state. They guided me through the process and supported the additional inquiries by the DMV in my state promptly. I appreciate their services very much and would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Poor service,greedy,always trying to upsell. Had a issue with Ford Focus transmission,carmax could have resolved due to recall, never passed that info on to us. The car went over 160 k at which point no longer covered. Carmax then tried to sell us another overpriced car . Poor customer service, unethical company,poor management. Stay away !!

Sales rep, Kevin was great! All other experiences, front desk rep and location manager, complete disaster. -Set an appointment. . .doesn’t matter. They don’t care. Not only do they not care, they verbally tell you they don’t care. -Try to express any feedback on how to improve their systems. . .they don’t care!
