I had an excellent experience at CarMax (East Haven, CT) in late April 2026. I was looking to sell a leased 2023 Lexus vehicle, and had received an unsatisfactory trade-in credit for the vehicle from a nearby Lexus dealership toward the purchase of a new Lexus vehicle. Rather than accept that price from Lexus, I used the CarMax on-line offer process to obtain a fair price for my 2023 Lexus vehicle from CarMax, which was many thousands more than Lexus had offered me. Carmax employees were very helpful. They took care of buying my vehicle. The 2 people I dealt with the most were Dominick and Ray. But all were helpful.
I have had not one but two of the most terrible experience At the East Haven Carmax I am currently working with a local news channel because of the fraudulent business they did with me The only professional employee there in the service department is Terry because she has been there for so many years today I called.
