Purchased a plug-in hybrid. Not even 24 hours later there was a check engine light that came on that required the car to be serviced. Clearly, they did not do proper testing on the vehicle before selling it. In addition, the salesperson told me the car would come with a 240v charger--but it didn't. When I called the service department they told me I had to purchase it. They don't seem to have a problem with misrepresentation in order to make a sale. I won't purchase any other vehicles from CarMax.
RecommendedYes CarMax!! Back in September my husband and I bought a 2018 Tahoe, which we love. Recently, I had to take it in for regular maintenance, I was in and out, but the technician also noticed I was low on gas and filled me up with half a tank before I left, no charge. The whole experience has been wonderful with them. I don’t really post much, but we’re just so impressed with CarMax and how easy they have been to work with, I had to say something. Would recommend it to anyone.
We came in to buy a car to replace my daughter's car that was totalled in a car accident..Kimberly, the sales associate was so incredible and made the process so easy, my other daughter who was with us bought a car after her sister was done. We were in and out in 5 hours total for two cars..best car buying experience ever!
I purchased a 2018 bmw from the roseville carmax on sept 3 they sold me a car for over 32k that they don’t have title for so I can’t register it. The carmax corporate office finally admitted yesterday dec 11 that they sold me a car they didn’t own. I have made multiple calls to carmax no one has called me. A demand letter and a lawsuit are coming.
The best place to buy or sell newer cars. They off decent prices, reasonable prices in sales.
