RecommendedFor 17 years we have been going to CMC and have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is always thoughtful and kind. We are always treated with respect and they always take the time to listen to any and all of our concerns. Saved my life when no other doctor could figure out what was wrong.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hospital. They get your billing all messed up. They charged me for procedures & Labs I didn’t even have!! Some of their Drs & Radiologists are out of network. They don’t tell you this until they’ve already billed your insurance company. BY that time, it is too late & it takes forever to get it straightened out....like one year & they continue billing me for $7,500, which I do not owe. Stay away from this place. Go to Artesia. I had a good experience.they were very nice and the nurse that took care of me even let me have my stuffed animal back there in surgery with me she put a gown on her and a mask it was sweet ❤️
Carlsbad Medical Center ER is the worst! My 5 yr old has nursemaid elbows and when people jerk them or pull on his arms they pop out! We have been there 3 times the first two they knew what they were doing and popped them back into place! Our 3rd time was an absolute nightmare! The doctor came in and said she didn’t see anything out of place on the X-rays that it was just sore from being pulled..mind you my son is screaming and holding his arm in the same place he always does when it gets pulled out of place! Yo recomiendo cmc uno debe de dar respeto para exigirlo si tu sabes más que el médico para que vas curate tu solo ay veces que uno piensa que debería de. Recibir toda reverencia sin ponerse a pensar cuantos pacientes a atendido ese doctor cuantos insultos ha recibido el de parte de gente que piensa nomas que primero yo después yo y luego yo en resumen si ya sabes que el perro es bravo para que le buscas es mi opinión cmc es bueno con todo sus trabajadores he dicho caso cerrado
I don't get it. I have lived in Carlsbad for 12 years. I've been an inpatient, outpatient and ER patient. Way more than I would I would expect to need medical care. I also had my son by emergency c-section. He in turn has been a patient occasionally. Neither I nor my boy have had less than stellar care. I'm not talking pussy stuff like hangnails.
