WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO CARLSBAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL This is the WORST veterinary care of I have experienced!!! They charge OUTRAGEOUS fees & then they take advantage of you when your pet is in his most vulnerable condition. My doxie has a history of pancreatitis and every episode incurred a bill exceeding $1,000. To add insult to injury every time I visit the office for anything, a simple ear infection, they always try to get more money out of me. They clearly do not care about animals STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They are out for money. It's hard to find a good vet that you can trust. Since most people obviously do not know much about the health issues of animals, a trained professional can easily lie to us about the things that need to be done for their own financial benefit apposed to the benefit of your pet. I have been caring for dogs all of my life, and I trust the veterinary expertise and services provided at Carlsbad Animal Hospital.
Friendly Staff, Great with your pets! After moving here from another state, we needed to find a Vet close to house, but one that was good. Carlsbad Animal Hosp. is terrific. There front desk staff was nice and helpful with all questions we had, and they were wonderful with our older dog. Their prices are reasonable also. And they also have nice hours of operation.
Carlsbad Animal Hospital is top notch animal hospital!! Carlsbad Animal hospital took great care of my little pismo (cat) for all of his kitty shots!! Decent priced, and they held pismo gently and didn't scare him too much!!
Kind and caring not only to your pets but to you too! I took my darling cat for a vets visit for what I thought would be a minor complaint, as it turned out my baby was really sick and died after two weeks of doing all the right things. This was a traumatic and most likely the most difficult time of my life, however, the staff were sympathetic, supportive and compassionate through every step of a very painful process. Helpful and kind This hospital has now put down three of my precious animals. Each time they were very nice and seemed to really care about us. They comforted our animals and that made us feel more at ease. We didn't like what we had to do but they did help us with this painful process.
